@supermemory is the Stripe webhook timeout from Sentry already tracked anywhere?
supermemory
supermemory AGENT 3:25 PM
nope, nothing yet, just opened ENG-847 for it, added the Sentry issue to it, and put it on @Sam since they were the last one in webhooks/stripe.ts and their beautiful code broke it ☠️. here you go, should probably fix it asap.

hey team — we opened 52 PRs yesterday but only merged 25. keep this up and it'll all pile up.

@Dhravya can you review #1231, #1000, and the rest? @Prasanna still waiting on your confirmation on the cloud branch.

I know you're both heads-down on the release, but this is a 10-minute job. Greptile's comment on #1222 looks good to merge already.

@supermemory can you look at our existing customers + the latest YC batch and flag who's a good fit for the new launch? go ahead and draft emails in my gmail for now.
supermemory
supermemory AGENT 2:19 PM

cross-referenced 340 existing customers against the latest YC batch — 10 solid matches based on stack and team size. top 3:

Fintech Co (Series A, currently on a competitor)
DevTools Inc (YC W25, hiring for this exact use case)
Loop Analytics (already on the waitlist)

reach-outs for all 10 are drafted and sitting in your Gmail.

keep an eye on all our competitors daily — launches, landing page or docs changes, anything worth knowing — and give us things to think about.
supermemory
supermemory AGENT 8:41 AM
got it, automation set. I'll post a daily digest here.
supermemory
supermemory AGENT 9:02 AM (next day)

daily digest — Competitor X quietly dropped their starter tier price 20% yesterday and added a self-serve onboarding flow. Competitor Y's docs added a new "agents" section that reads a lot like our own positioning.

worth a look before our launch — happy to pull the full diff if useful.

guys, I think we can improve memory quality if we increase the number of derivations but decrease their weightage in the results
supermemory
supermemory AGENT 11:55 PM

I looked at some data and ran a small sandbox experiment — looks like you're right.

there's also a bunch of research on this online, worth exploring further.

New conversation: rewriteQuery param not working

Jordan Alvarez (acme-corp.io) sent a new message.

hi team, just tried the rewriteQuery param on the v3 search endpoint and it doesn't seem to do anything — tried a few values, results look identical either way. can someone take a look
supermemory
supermemory AGENT 10:13 AM

confirmed, this is a real one — a couple people have also flagged it on GitHub this week. v3 search is deprecated but we're committed to legacy support through end of year, so worth fixing.

most likely cause is a change @Adam shipped last week to cut query-rewrite costs. @cursor can you take this one? full context attached.

Context.md
Cursor
Cursor AGENT 10:19 AM

fixed — rewriteQuery was getting skipped by the new cost short-circuit whenever a query was already cached. pushed on #2312.

is prod down? a couple of customers are pinging me
supermemory
supermemory AGENT 11:03 AM
not a full outage — api/search is elevated (42 errors in the last 15m, mostly timeout on vectorize). Sentry issue SM-2041. deploy from this morning is the likely culprit; rollback candidate is af61880.

@supermemory what's in our Q2 roadmap?
supermemory
supermemory AGENT 10:18 AM

three themes for Q2:

1. Company Brain GA — Slack bot, connectors, automations
2. Memory Router v2 — lower latency, better multi-tenant isolation
3. Enterprise SSO + audit log

Build your knowledge, and use it outside of Slack.

Build your knowledge

Every conversation becomes part of a searchable wiki.

Use it outside Slack

Supermemory plugs into your own tools — Claude, Codex, and more.

Permissioning, built in.

Inherits permissions for tools

Supermemory inherits the permissioning from what the team can do — and only runs the tools that the team member can run.

Knowledge and permissions

Builds knowledge on top of all public channels. Private channels remain private, and it knows the common channels when talking in DMs.

Leases permissions when needed

Just like a teammate would, it can ask another employee for temporary access to something specific for one task — not a standing grant.

It's completely customizable.

Make it friendlier, more serious, or bring your own model. You can customize everything — and we don't charge extra for any of it.

It is very safe.

It takes 2 minutes to set up.
Seriously.

Just invite it to Slack, and start talking to it. That's it.
